SwedesFlyShop LLC
Last updated: December 2025
We take your privacy seriously and promise to treat your information the way we want ours treated, with respect, common sense, and as little bureaucracy as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why we need it, and what we absolutely never do with it.
Who We Are
SwedesFlyShop LLC is a small travel company registered and based at 18900 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126, USA. You can reach us anytime at [email protected] or by calling +1 313-584-3257.
Information We Collect
When you browse the site, we automatically receive the usual technical stuff your browser sends: IP address, device type, browser version, and which pages you look at. This helps us keep the site running smoothly and see which destinations people are curious about.
When you actually decide to book or contact us, we ask for the things we genuinely need: your name, email address, phone number, postal address, passport details (only when required for certain bookings), and payment information. Without these we can’t reserve your spot, send confirmations, or make sure you get on the right plane.
If you fill out a contact form, sign up for occasional updates, or leave a comment, we keep whatever you choose to share.
How We Use Your Information
Everything we collect is used only to make your trip happen and, if you allow it, to let you know about future adventures that might interest you. We send confirmations, invoices, practical pre-trip info, and the occasional “the northern lights are exploding right now” email if you’ve opted in. Your passport data is forwarded only to airlines, hotels, or local partners who need it to provide the service, nothing more.
Payment details are processed through trusted, fully compliant processors (Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
Cookies and Similar Things
The website uses a handful of cookies. Some are necessary so the booking form doesn’t forget what you typed, others help us understand if people actually read the packing lists or just panic-buy wool socks. You can turn non-essential ones off in your browser anytime; the site will still work, just slightly less clever.
Sharing With Others
We share the minimum required with the people who help run the trips: guides, hotels, transportation companies, and sometimes local authorities when visas or permits are involved. All of them are bound by the same strict privacy rules we follow.
We will never sell, rent, or give your data to marketing companies, political groups, or random third parties. Ever.
Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored on secure servers in the United States and in a couple of encrypted backups in the EU (because some of our tools are European). We use industry-standard encryption, firewalls, and regular security updates. Still, no system is 100 % unbreakable, but we lose sleep making sure it’s as close as possible.
How Long We Keep It
Booking-related data is kept for seven years (tax and accounting laws). After that it’s securely deleted. If you only signed up for updates and never traveled with us, we remove inactive contacts every two years. Want everything gone sooner? Just ask.
Your Rights
You can always ask to see exactly what we have about you, correct anything wrong, or request complete deletion (as long as we’re not legally required to keep certain records). Drop us an email at [email protected] and we’ll handle it quickly, usually within a few days.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we discover we have it by mistake, we delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever need to make meaningful changes, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Keep checking back if you’re curious.
Questions or Concerns
We’re a phone call or email away. Seriously, reach out to [email protected] or +1 313-584-3257 and talk to a real human who actually cares.
Thank you for trusting us with your next adventure.
